September 6th, 2015

The locations of the two known Cimex towers are revealed to the group, and they are also told about where the two other towers might be. But while it is known there are two others, the search areas are too large to provide a reasonable chance of success.

Krash uses his ability to hear and detect the direction of radio waves to attempt to find the location of the two missing Cimex broadcast towers but realizes that the closest one which is already known in Wisconsin is overriding his search.

A request is made for Simms to build a device that will enhance Krash’s abilities. After some initial work, it is determined that a device can be built, but it will take 40 hours to complete.

The group heads to Easter Island via their plane, with Conan staying behind in the office to practice with his new found powers.

September 7th, 2015

The group rents a boat on Easter Island that should enable them to reach the target search area and perform a successful search.

While several members of the group prepare the boat, loading supplies and what not, Twitch starts straightening a couple of the statue heads on the island.

Krash decides to check for the Cimex signal and since he is much closer to the tower, picks up the signal to the west.

Chance decides to check out the populace for odd thought patterns. At some point, he picks up the thoughts of one of the natives who is excited that magically some of the heads have straightened up on the island.

Final load out for the boat, 2 times the amount of fuel the group determines will take to search the area in question, enough food and drink for that entire time, fishing rods, reals, nets, etc that would be needed for a fishing trip.

Twitch tells Danny to run back to New York for the purpose of picking up the device that Simms is developing for Krash. During his run back to New York, Danny passes through Mexico, where he is spotted as a blur, and causes some damage due to the sonic wave following behind him. He then continues through Florida, Georgia (where he is again spotted), South and North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland (where he is again spotted), Delaware, New Jersey and New York.

Upon running up to the Simms Technologies facility in Hawthorne, Danny runs over the fence and up to the front doors to knock. As he crosses the fence, he suddenly hears the sound of an alarm sounding. Inside the lobby of the building, he sees a frantic receptionist on the phone and very quickly a number of guards begin to start heading his way.

He then runs up to the roof of the building and waits till the guards come outside. After a short conversation with the guards, where he is told to come down and surrender, he runs back outside the fence and with hands in the air, stops a short distance from the gate house.

As the guards approach him, he says he surrenders and wants to talk with Mr. Simms. One of the gate guards gets on the phone and moments later, motions Danny to come talk on the phone.

Danny can tell Simms is exasperated during his conversation and Simms finally tells Danny that the device isn’t quite ready yet, that they are having issues with it. He also tells Danny that when he heads back to where he came from, to be less conspicuous.

Danny then heads back by way of the Atlantic Ocean, crossing through a smaller less inhabited are of Central America.

Moments after Danny leaving Hawthorne, Chance’s phone begins to ring. It’s Simms and he mentions what Danny has been doing to Chance who apologizes to Simms.

September 8th, 2015

With a completely outfitted boat, the group heads west.

After 10 hours of travel, Krash determines that they have covered about half of the distance to the tower.

At 15 hours out from Easter Island, Krash notices that they are getting much closer to the place, figures they are within about 5 hours of the tower. All during the day, Chance has kept a look out to the west for the tower. After dark, Twitch takes over.

At about 19 hours from Easter Island, Krash notices that they are within 20 to 30 miles from the tower.

Mick flies out ahead, using his sound nullification ability to keep radar and sonar from picking him up. Eventually he spots at flashing light toward the top of the tower, about 500 feet up. As he gets a little closer, he finally can make out the shape of the tower on Henderson Island.

Returning to the boat, the group then tries to determine the location of the island and does determine that it is Henderson Island.

Mick nullifies the sound around the boat and they continue toward the island.

When they get to within a mile and a half from the island, they stop and begin to examine the tower and the island. All of the group except Krash manages to see the Cimex bugs, including a before unseen flier type in the air and on the ground of the island.

Chance reaches out with his mind abilities and connects with the mind of a flier. He picks up no individual/intelligent thought, just instinct. But after being connected with the bug for a few minutes, he suddenly realizes that it has become aware of the invading mind and he begins to seek out that mind. Chance immediately severs the link and suggests that the party leave the area.

The group turns the boat around and heads back to Easter Island. Krash sends the information about the tower including the location back to Simms.

September 9th, 2015

The group arrives back on Easter Island. Simms communicates to Krash info received and thanks.

The group begins to plan for their trip to the last tower.

Twitch get’s a nagging thought in the back of his mind to go and return the heads to their previous positions!

They contact Simms as to whether the device is completed and are told that it will be delivered to them. A short while later, the group hears a fairly quiet sonic boom from the north end of the island and are informed that the package is there. Twitch goes out to retrieve it and finds Nebula there with the package.

After taking the package from Nebula, he begins to head back to the group while Nebula takes of over the ocean, going supersonic shortly after.

The group takes off toward New Zealand, with Twitch reducing the weight of the plane so that Mick can take off only using half of the run way. They fly the plan at a reduced weight, speeding up their flight speed to 700 mph, staying subsonic since the plane’s air frame would not be able to handle the stress.

6 hours later, they arrive in New Zealand, landing normally. They refuel and then take off again for Perth, with Twitch again lightening the plane.

4 and 1/2 hours later they land in Perth, refueling again and taking off in the direction of the tower.

3 and 1/2 hours later, they fly the plane over the area of the tower and spot it. Again they send the information to Simms and are again thanked for their work.

September 2, 2015 – Really late at night.

While Simms told them the tale, everyone closely watch his reactions as he answered questions to see if he was telling them the truth and all could tell he was being honest. Conan though noticed that it was extremely harder than normal to read his reactions.

After finding out that they no longer needed to worry about someone hunting them, they went to retrieve their vehicles. The group found that all of their vehicles were right where they had left them.

After checking out their vehicles for tracking devices, bombs or whatever, all but Krash headed back to the office. Krash went by his house to check his laptop and then decided to sleep at his place.

When the rest of the group decided to sleep for the night, Mick dropped Twitch off at his house and then headed for Trish’s place. Twitch called Trish once he was inside his place and got her to come over to his place.

Chance headed home.

Danny headed home.

Conan read the autopsy report of Kerr and found that the report states that he was beaten to death. Once he completes reading the report, he goes to sleep on the couch in his office.

Mick arrives at Trish’s place to find she’s not there. He gives her a call and she tells him that she’s gone out with the girls and won’t be home till later.

Mick takes a shower and then goes to sleep.

September 3rd, 2015

Mick talks with Trish once she get’s to the office, asking where she was last night. She tells him she was out and had her work clothes with her.

Everyone but Twitch shows up at the office at the normal time. Twitch shows up around noon.

Twitch calls everyone into the conference room to discuss what is happening to them. Twitch remind everyone that all of them might not survive the procedure as Simms had warned them previously.

It’s business as usual for the party.

September 4th, 2015

Another day of business as usual for the party, they do not investigate the Kerr case at all, just continue to wait for the phone call from Simms.

September 5th, 2015

Phillip Hess finally calls Chance back and sets up a meeting with him. He comes to the agency office. Conan gives Hess one of the urine samples for him to have the FBI check out.

Chance tells Hess that the sample needs to be checked by the FBI to find out if their lab was processing it correctly. Something came back odd on the sample and he doesn’t want to influence the result.

Twitch asks if Hess has heard of any odd things happening in the subway.

Simms calls Chance soon after Hess leaves and tells him the group needs to head to Hawthorne, NY.

The group arrives at the complex and are let through the gate by the guards. They drive around to the entrance that they have been told to go to.

Simms greets them and escorts them to a secure lab.

The party enters the lab where they see a number of technicians and Nebula, plus various pieces of equipment that they don’t recognize. There are six human sized chambers in the room which stand open waiting for the members of the group.

Mick suggests that one of them should enter the chamber first and go through the process and suggests it’s Danny.

Danny goes through the process, experiencing a lot of pain, but doesn’t really notice any change once his is finished and comes out of the chamber.

The rest of the group enters the chambers. Krash, Chance and Conan experience a lot of pain, so much so that Krash and Chance scream out. Conan weathers the pain in silence.

After they have completed the process, the technicians in the lab scan the party and begin to reveal their powers to them.

The group goes to an empty warehouse in the facility and takes several hours to learn about their abilities. At one point, Conan heads for orbit.

September 2, 2015

Mick asks the group if they noticed that there was new concrete at the warehouse, where the creatures broke through the previous day.

Twitch questioned that if the creatures could burrow, wouldn’t they have just burrowed up somewhere else?

Twitch calls Trish, which Krash bounces the call through a number of different satellites.

Trish tells them there is a new report on the news of another chemical spill which has happened at the warehouse on the previous day.

Chance turns on the TV and begins surfing the various channels to view the news reports.

Mick heads out to look for cars to steal the license plates from in the same fashion that he had done the previous day.

Krash continues his investigation of Paul King and finds out that he was on the Department of Defense Subcommittee and was also involved with Homeland Security.

Conan talks with Hacksaw about their infection. Hacksaw tells Conan that the same free roaming molecule is in each of the blood samples he received from the group.

Twitch calls Will Smith to get him to meet for lunch at the Player’s Club.

Chance and Mick go to a used car dealership. Chance asks for the manager of the lot.

Mick dumps the van from the night before while Chance talks with the manager.

Chance convinces the manager that they are making a movie and gets the manager to let them use a vehicle from his lot in return for advertising in the movie.

The party heads to the Player’s Club for lunch, except for Mick who stays in the van and meets with Will.

Will says that the picture the party gave him was not believed by his scientist friend, James Delgado. Twitch gives Will the bug piece that they recovered at the warehouse.

Chance suggests going into the subway to see if the tunnel that came into the warehouse area connects to the subway.

The party goes to where Senator King’s meeting is at the UN.

Chance tells the senator’s handlers that he has an employer who wants to meet with the senator.

Chance, Twitch and Danny meet with the senator and when they do, get a feeling of Deja Vu, that they have met the senator before. While looking around, Danny notices something odd about the senator but can’t quite put a finger on what that oddness is.

Danny tells this to Chance, but Chance doesn’t notice anything out of the ordinary.

Continuing his research in the van, Krash has found a connection between Simms and the senator.

Mick sends the information to Chance about the connection in a text, which Danny notices.

As the party is leaving the UN, Danny yells out a comment about the connection between the senator and Simms.

That night there is a news report about the connection between Simms and King that was mentioned anonymously at the UN.

Krash contacts a forum searching for information about what happened to Kerr.

The party goes to visit Kimberly Kerr and she tells them that she as never hired the agency and has never met them. Her husband is dead and has been for a month or so, which is why she would never had hired them.

After some more questioning of her, she gets upset with the party, Chance tries to calm her down and finally gives her his card and asks her if she remembers anything to call him.

Conan calls Trish and asks about the contract they had with Kerr. Then asks for Trish to get a copy of the autopsy of Daniel Kerr.

Twitch goes back to Kimberly’s door and asks her if she has a sister, to which she answers no.

The party then heads to the subway. Mick parks the van in Brian Park. The party weapons up and heads to the subway.

Mick stays back 5 to 10 feet from the rest of the party.

The party heads into the subway and rides to a stop near the warehouse.

Do a closed section of the subway, they find a tunnel in the ceiling of the tunnel and another in the wall. A new concrete plug can be seen up the tunnel closer to the surface above.

The party enters the tunnel in the wall. After walking 90 feet, curving to the left then right, the tunnel finally turns downward in a drop of 150 feet. The party climbs down and the opening exits into the top of a tunnel running horizontally in two directions.

The party heads to the left in the horizontal tunnel. After walking 100 feet down this tunnel, the party feels a rush of air and something unseen runs over/past the party.

The party continues 400 feet further down the tunnel which opens into a large chamber. Looking around the chamber, the party only sees some orb like shapes toward the middle of the chamber (which the party dubs as eggs), but while they see nothing else, they hear numerous things moving around in the tunnel.

After a hushed conversation, the party decides to head into the chamber to further investigate the orb shapes. As the party heads into the chamber, Chances phone begins to ring. Quickly silencing the phone, he notices that he has no service but answers anyway. The party notices that the movement in the chamber has ceased.

Simms asks Chance if he has a death wish and tells him that the party needs to stop investigating the chamber. Chance wants to know why, to which Simms tells him to meet at the Castle Clinton National Monument later that night.

At the correct time, the party approaches the monument and spots Simms sitting on a bench. Beside him is an odd mechanical device which none of the party recognizes. As the party gets close to him, they notice that an odd background ‘white’ noise effect that they had been hearing but not noticed suddenly stops.

Simms explains to the party everything about the Cimex invasion, including the fact that they each had a specific genetic marker which would allow a Cimex royal to be hosted in their bodies and that they had originally been infected when they were sent to the warehouse to check on Kerr, after they had received that location from Senator King.

King had visited the warehouse earlier prior to Kerr and had been successfully infected by a Cimex royal. King had earlier sent Kerr to the warehouse when Kerr came to him while investigating the invasion.

It was found out that Kerr had been infected by members of Shield and the attempt to remove the parasite ended up in Kerr’s death. But the information gained in that attempt allowed Simms to come up with a method for successfully removing the parasites from infected hosts as long as the infection hadn’t progressed to far.

Fortunately for the party, the location of that Cimex layer was found out just prior to their entry, an assault was staged against the warehouse by Shield and a few heroes and the party was rescued soon after implantation. This allowed Simms to remove the parasites, but the infection had triggered latent genes which would cause them to gain super human powers.

Simms could have altered the party’s DNA back prior to the trigger, but felt that it would be better to allow the change to happen and also he theorized that one or more of them would gain the ability to find Cimex installations and allow the remaining creatures to be hunted and destroyed.

Simms also began to work with Nebula to come up with a way to remove the advanced parasite from the senator and save his life, but wanted to study the changes occurring in the party first to come up with a safe method for the senator.

After learning they were changing, the party was asked if they wished to let the change progress at it’s normal speed or if they wished for Simms to speed up the change.

All but Mick chose to attempt the process, so Simms told them to give him a few days to ready the equipment and personnel and once he was ready, would inform them of where to meet.

Mick and Krash Catch Up!

Players present (Balwin, Mike C, Mike C Jr, Stabbity, Lightspeedx1 and Mike M [via Skype]) – 1 power point awarded to the players.

September 1, 2015

Mick & Krash wake up in a parking garage in one of the agency SUVs. Mick checks the SUV and then starts it up to turn on the A/C. Looking around, Mick sees the other agency SUV and Krash realizes that they are in the parking garage of his apartment building.

Mick checks the other SUV, finds out that no one is in it.

Mick calls Trish to find out what is happened, is informed that the rest of the team has been looking for them and not found them as of yet. Then he calls Conan.

At the same time, Trish calls Conan again, who manages to get through before Mick and tells Conan that Mick just called her.

While Mick talks with Conan, Twitch calls Krash and tells him they are in his apt.

Mick & Krash head to Krash’s apt.

Once there, Krash hacks into the garage’s security cameras and gets the feed to see what’s on them. He notices nothing out of the ordinary accept a slight skip around 12 midnight.

Twitch fills in Mick & Krash on the events of yesterday that the rest of the group dealt with.

Conan contacts Hacksaw to further investigate the insect molecules in his urine sample.

Conan suggests they contact the FBI.

Chance contacts his FBI contact, to meet with him but the contact can’t meet with him until Saturday, September 5th.

Krash checks the backups of his videos and finds a blip in the video.

The group decides to head to the burned down warehouse.

Conan searches the internet for anything concerning Fukushima, Japan and Tianjin, China explosion while on the way to the warehouse. Upon viewing the Tianjin explosion, the party shows shock and dismay at the explosion. Any photos viewed of the aftermath are blurry like the Fukushima explosion.

At the warehouse, they see some police manning a barricade surrounding and some 12 men in hazmat suits cleaning up a place in the warehouse near the water side of the property. There are 4 plain black vans near the barricaded area.

Twitch sneaks over to a van and attaches a tracer to the wheel well.

Conan watches the area with binoculars.

Danny goes to swim in the Hudson to the shore side of the warehouse.

Chance decides to approach the officers at the same time Twitch heads over to a police officer as well. After a short conversation, with Twitch helping, Chance manages to talk his way past the barricade under the pretenses of being a pair of insurance investigators.

Danny is very sneaky in his swimming toward the warehouse.

Mick scans the area with binoculars gets the license plate of one of the vans and has Trish run the plate.

Conan scans the area with binoculars and also gets a license plate of one of the other vans and has Trish also run it.

Krash checks the internet to find out the owner of the warehouse.

Twitch checks the warehouse with Chance looking at the ruins. Among the ruins, Chance finds 3 pieces of debris, a strange badly damages pipe with an odd attachment at one end, a portion of a helmet and a piece of insect shell. Twich notices what appears to be dried blood on the ground near where Chance has found the helmet piece.

Krash gets the name of the warehouse owner, Mathew Achenbach. The warehouse is listed as being empty.

While inspecting the debris, Chance notices some small pebbles on the ground begin to vibrate and dust begin to fall.

Conan and Mick also notice this while scanning the area.

As Danny exits the water, he notices the water rippling away from the shore and some pebbles also dancing on the ground.

Chance and Twitch hear a shout from the direction of the Hazmat suited crew and two break off from the rest of the group, shouldering weapons and moving toward them.

As they close on the two, a portion of the concrete floor about 30 feet in front of the two Hazmat team members begins to crack and buckle upward.

Chance, Twitch, Conan, Danny and Mick all hear the cracking of the concrete.

A hole opens up in the floor and almost immediately, the two Hazmat suited men open fire on something that the party cannot see. A scream breaks the silence as they witness the shots from the blaster rifles striking some unseen creature.

Chance is overcome by the sound and falls to his hands and knees in a fit of retching. Twitch and Conan are nauseated and unbalanced by the sound but manage to remain standing. Danny and Mick feel a slight disorientation that passes.

As the two open up on the unseen creature, two other of the Hazmat team also move forward and Danny tries to sneak up on the rest of the group who are hanging back.

Twitch picks up Chance and begins to move in the direction of where the rest of the agency team is at. Danny is noticed by one of the Hazmat team who points his weapon at Danny, telling him to leave the area as there is a hazardous waste problem.

Krash notices that Danny has been spotted and begins moving toward him to help, while Mick has retrieved one of the video cameras and is filming the firefight.

The agency team notices that something cuts through the Hazmat suit of one of the combatants and the second pair of troopers has opened fire on a second unseen creature.

Danny not leaving and mentioning the firefight which is only a few feet away from the other group of Hazmat troopers, get’s told by the trooper watching him that there is no firefight going on and that the trooper believes he has been exposed to hazardous waste and needs to be detained. Danny follows the trooper’s instruction to get down on the ground.

Krash begins to head toward Twitch who continues to carry Chance toward the edge of the warehouse. Conan notices that the cops are watching whatever is happening but are not intervening.

Mick get’s into the SUV and while pointing the camera in the direction of the firefight, begins to drive toward Krash, Twitch and Chance, who has recovered from his nausea and has been put down by Twitch. Mick tells Conan that he is leaving, so Conan begins to follow Mick.

Danny get’s into a runner’s start position and then launches himself at the trooper. The trooper manages to get a shot off at Danny as Danny hits him with a martial arts kick. Danny ends up unconscious on top of the trooper.

As Krash, Twitch and Chance get into the SUV, the agency team notices that one of the troopers is down, but the other three are now concentrating fire on only one unseen creature.

Mick turns the SUV in the direction of where Danny lies, after having been pulled off of the trooper. As the SUV gains speed, it becomes obvious to the team that both creatures are no longer a threat. As the troopers notice that the two black SUVs are barring down on them, they open fire.

Mick manages to swerve enough to keep the damage from the blasters to a minimum. Twitch, assisted by Chance grabs Danny as the SUV races past his location, scattering the troopers out of the way.

Once exiting the warehouse proper, the team breaks through the police barricade and begins a hasty retreat, receiving a few bullet holes in the back of the SUVs.

The team begins to head for the airport hanger, Conan notices that there are four police cars chasing them. But as they close on the trailing SUV, about five minutes later, they suddenly turn off their lights and stop pursuit.

Krash makes backups of all data collected at the warehouse, then has Mick drop him off one block away from his apartment.

Krash goes to his apartment, get’s information on which insurance agency the warehouse owner was using, destroys his phone, picks up his spare phone, then hides this data in the cloud. He leaves his laptop at his apt. Once he has chance clothes, set up a camera to monitor his place, he then get’s on his motorcycle, heading for the agreed upon mall at which the team plans to meet later.

Mick and Conan head toward the Lincoln tunnel, where Danny get’s out of Mick’s SUV, carrying one of the camera simm cards, which he hides in the tunnel. Then he gets into Conan’s SUV as they head for the mall. The rest of the team has also shut off their phones, destroying them and leaving the remains in various places.

Mick drops Chance off at a subway entrance in Harlem, then heads for the mall.

Chance buys a pack of gum, removes a stick, then places the second simm card in the wrapper and hides the wrapper in one of the advertisement poster cases in the subway station.

Boarding a train, Chance heads to one end of the train a sits in a seat at the very end. At the 3rd stop of the train, a large good looking blond man boards the train and sits in the seat opposite Chance and begins to read the paper. At the very next station, Chance get’s out of the train, heads back one car and re-boards the train.

Once the train leaves the station, the blond man enters the car that Chance is on and sits right beside him this time, resuming his paper. He explains to Chance that the team is attracting too much attention to themselves, but he is confident that they can follow the clues and figure out what is going on. But that they should do so in a quieter manner.

As the man gets up to leave, chance follows him out onto the subway platform and after a little bit more discussion, asks the man his name. The man introduces himself as Mr. Simms. Then the man heads up toward street level.

Chance then continues to the mall.

Mick and Twitch park the SUV in a restaurant across the street from the mall.

Conan and Danny park their SUV in the most inconspicuous spot at the mall.

Krash arrives at the mall, spotting Mick’s SUV, parks in a lot across the road as well, but not the same restaurant that Mick parked in.

Mick buys two new shirts, jackets and ball caps for himself and Twitch at the mall, makes cash purchases only.

Twitch goes to each of the three cell phone kiosks in the mall to buy six burner phones, makes cash purchases only. He also buys clothes.

Chance buys a hoodie, makes cash purchases only.

Danny buys clothes, making cash purchases only.

The team members sit at different tables in the food court, with Danny going to sit with total strangers who get up and move away from the table.

Krash sits on the other side of the food court from the team. After writing his new phone number down on a receipt, he drops the receipt off on Mick’s table. Krash has removed the simm card from his cell and is currently only using the mall’s wifi.

Twitch drops/gives one of the burner phones to Mick, attracting some attention from the nearby tables.

Mick enters Krash’s phone number in the new phone then drops the receipt into Twitch’s shopping bag.

Twitch places a phone on his table, Chance walks by the table, picking up the phone and says Jonathan Alexander Simms. Twitch places another phone on the table.

Danny also walks by and picks up a phone. Danny notices a security guard watching them from the side of the food court.

Conan watches the group from further away in the food court, making notes about the group’s actions.

Mick heads to the Sears in the mall to get a flat head and Phillips head screw driver. He goes outside, finds 3 similar mini vans, takes the plates off of the mini vans and switches them around. Boosts one of the mini vans.

Twitch heads to the restroom, Krash follows after. In the currently empty restroom, Twitch and Krash occupy side by side stalls. Twitch gives Krash one of the pre-pay phones and mentions the name of Simms.

Krash get’s rid of his spare phone for the pre-paid one that Twitch has given him. Using just the wifi, Krash recognizing the name, checks on Simms.

The team finally get together in the mini van. They share notes on Simms, finding out that he is the owner/CEO of a Fortune 500 technology company.

The team then heads to a motel that has a parking garage. Checking in the the motel, they pay cash and get two adjoining rooms.

Mick goes to a convenience store to get beer for Twitch and a Metro phone for himself.

Mick calls Trish at home, gives her the new contact information for them. Asks if their blood work had come in and has her wire them $600.

Everyone goes to sleep for the night.

What Happened Last Week?

Players present (Balwin, Mike C, Mike C Jr and Mike M [via Skype]) – 1 power point awarded to the players.

Current Date: August 31, 2015

Chance Parker, Conan Cole, Danny Ducas and Twitch Malone all wake up in one of the agency’s SUVs parked under the George Washington bridge, with no memory of how they got there or of the events of the last week.

Each of them checked to make sure their items were still on them and also checked their arms and neck to see if there was any sign of injection sites to explain their unconscious state and lack of memory.

Conan got out of the SUV and began to check the area for activity, noting that the only tracks in sight appeared to have been from their SUV, no one appeared to have been following them, at least in the area near the SUV.

Twitch called the office to speak with Trish, the receptionist to get an update of what was going on that day. Trish asked him how the security conference had gone that the group had attended out in Las Vegas. After a brief conversation with Trish, he got out and began spending the next hour checking out the SUV, looking for tracking devices and general condition of the vehicle. His search revealed nothing out of the ordinary.

Chance got out and approached several of the homeless the group had spotted nearby and began to ask them questions about their arrival. Had the individuals been there when the SUV drove up? Had they noticed if there were any other vehicles accompanying the SUV? Had anyone gotten out of the SUV? What time did they arrive? After sufficient incentives, (a bribe of cash), the homeless individuals told Chance that they had arrived around midnight, alone and they had simply shut off their engine and just sat there.

Danny went to check for any security cameras that were focused on the park entrance or in the park to see if there was a recording of the SUV entering the park. He found that a few apartment buildings had cameras pointing in that general direction and managed to talk (a bribe of cash) a security officer into letting him look at the tape. Starting from about 11:00 the night before, he did spot the SUV entering the park around 11:30, with no other vehicles in evidence.

Meanwhile, Conan called the office to find out if there was any activity on the police scanner at that time. Unfortunately no one was in the office and the calls on their scanner are not recorded.

Having finished up with the homeless and feeling a little fatigued, Chance told the group that he was going to get coffee from any nearby coffee shops. Twitch called out for Chance to bring him back a scone!

The group also attempted to contact Jackson “Mick” McMillan and Krash having noticed that they were not around and had not contacted the office. Attempts to reach their cell phones went unanswered.

Before leaving the area, Conan opened up the evidence kit kept in the SUV and proceeded to get a urine sample. Afterward, he called Trish to set up an appointment to have the sample tested, paying extra for an immediate processing request.

The group decided to head to the Terboro Executive Airport, where they store their jet to check for any information that would validate they had indeed gone to Vegas.

While on the way to the airport, Trish called back Conan and informed him where to stop to drop off the sample for analysis, picking a lab that was along their travel route.

Upon arriving at the airport, Twitch had Conan drop him off at the Federal Aviation building so that he could check on information about their flight plan. Having checked the flight plan, Twitch saw that nothing out of the ordinary occurred while flying back from Vegas. He then spoke with the Federal officials to determine if anything odd had happened at the airport.

Once at the hanger, Conan checked out the inside of the plane, looking for anything out of the ordinary. After a 30 minutes to an hour, he notices nothing out of the ordinary.

Meanwhile, Chance and Danny search through the recordings of the security cameras on the hanger. The video shows them arriving getting into their SUVs and leaving the hanger/airport. But Chance notices that about 10 minutes before the plane arrives, the video in the recording jumps as if it skipped? Chance suspects something has been done and checks the digital recording for tampering. He doesn’t find any evidence.

After noticing an odd feeling in his lower back, Conan removes his clothes and feels something on his lower back, but can’t get a good look at what ever is there. Asks Danny to come check out his lower back. Danny looks at his lower back, making sure to block his view of Conan’s ass, which causes him not notice anything about that spot.

Conan has Chance take a picture of his lower back and after inspecting the picture, notices that there is indeed a scar there. The rest of the group inspects their own backs and finds the same scar on each of them. They also notice that the scars while looking very clean, do not appear to be made with a scalpel, appearing instead like a single claw or fang mark. There is also no sign of staples or sutures used to close the wound. Finally, the scar is around 1 week old.

Conan calls Trish and has her set up an appointment with Hacksaw, Dr. Frank Reilly, to have him check the scars of the group members.

The group attempts to find out where the Mick and Krash’s vehicle is at, but they find out that the SUV’s GPS is turned off as well as their phones.

The group heads to the agency offices to continue their investigation. While eating lunch, they begin to review the information they have gathered.

Chance notices on a news report update on a recent warehouse fire that there appears to be the agency SUVs in the background of the video. He contacts Kathryn Davis, a news reporter that he knows and get’s her to send over the original raw video.

They have David Williams, one of the agency’s techs review the video from the airplane hanger. Dave does find the glitch in the video and does confirm that their is something ‘wrong’ with the file, but can’t determine what that something is.

Twitch has Trish check out the most recent supermarket news rags for any information on appearances of the ‘Men in Black’, alien abductions, strange encounters, etc.

The raw video from the news report arrives and they put David on the job of reviewing the video.

Twitch has Jill Yuhas, the agency’s other tech, review the video from the airplane hanger from a week ago, about the time the SUVs were in the background of the news report. Jill doesn’t notice anything odd about the footage, but confirms that the SUVs are present at the hanger.

David reviews the news footage with the group, which shows that agency SUVs are at both the warehouse as well as the hanger, or at least so it appears as both sets of SUvs have the same license plates as well as the same appearance.

Trish reports her findings from the supermarket rags to the group and there has been a reported increase of MiB activity in Manhattan in the past 2 weeks and also in Tianjin, China around August 13th. The reporter on these stories is Will Smith.

Twitch has Trish set up an appointment with Mr Smith and the group set for 9:00 P.M. that night at the Player’s Club, stating that the group has a few leads to give him concerning MiBs.

The group then goes to visit Hacksaw at their appointment time for him to inspect them. He x-rays each of the group as well as giving them a physical exam and taking samples for a tox screen. The results of the physical exam are that it looks like the scar is from an animal wound, but from a single claw, which he states to the group that it looks like nothing he has ever seen before.

The results from the x-rays are negative, no items found or damage. A preliminary tox screen results are negative for any toxins. It will take him about a day to complete the entire tox screen testing.

Danny has a runner from the agency go over to the plane to retrieve the groups luggage as it should be either in the plane’s cargo hold or in the other SUV and since they can’t find the other SUV, they decide on checking the cargo hold.

Around 7:00 P.M., the runner calls Danny and asks if he is messing with him. When Danny is confused as to what the runner is talking about, the runner points out that there is no luggage in the cargo hold, even sending a picture to Danny proving what he’s talking about. Danny has the runner go home.

At 9:00 P.M. the group arrives at the Player’s Club and meets with Mr. Smith. Will tells the group what he knows about the MiBs, including that their main base is located near Roswell, NM and that they have another secret base located below the Statue of Liberty in NY.

The group shares the information they have with Will, showing him pictures from the news report of the warehouse fire which shows black Hummers in the area.

The group then decides to go to the Tech’s apartment to review the files he stores there, which should be untouched by any tampering.

After reviewing the files, they find out that they were hired by a Kimberly Kerr, whose husband has been missing for a while. The police stopped investigating the disappearance after determining Kerr had run away with his assistant. Strangely, the group does not remember the interview with Mrs. Kerr.

They also look at information she provided them from Mr. Kerr, files showing that the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident looking more like a war zone rather than a nuclear plant melt down. Kerr’s pictures included pieces of a exoskeleton that looked like a large piece of insect chitin, parts of military vehicles, including insignia.

Realizing it is late at night, the group decides to sleep at the Techies apartment.

September 1, 2015

Trish calls the party in the morning.

Twitch asks her to check for a record of the investigation of the Kerr case and she can’t find anything in their system relating to it. While on the phone, she mentions that Conan’s urinalysis has come back. They have her read the results to them over the phone and she states that the only oddity of note was that there was evidence of the molecule N-acetylglucosamine, which is commonly found in the chitin of insects and crustaceans and also used to treat autoimmune disease in humans.

The Centurion Agency
The start (August 31, 2015)

You are part of a successful, private investigation agency, based in Manhattan, NY. You are each equal partners in the business, with one of your number being the founding partner (the choice of who is up to the players and should be chosen before we start). The reason one of you needs to be the founding partner is in case there needs to be an executive decision during the game, there needs to be a defacto party leader, plus it would make sense for a business situation.

State of the world – This is Earth, circa 2015. It could easily be our Earth with the following differences. The terror attacks and subsequent war on terror that occurred on September 11 never happened on this world. The Twin Towers still stand and New York City is the same as it was prior to our September 11 attacks.

The supermarket tabloids, National Enquirer and Weekly World News tell of strange sightings, UFO abductions, poltergeists, etc. While there is no physical proof that these reports are true and been proven, you have seen enough odd occurrences in your time, that you suspect that the true isn’t far off.

All of you have heard rumors of a secret elite group, either part of the U.S. government or an International group that handles such situations as reported by the supermarket tabloids. A group of “Men In Black”, though none of you have ever seen anything even resembling the possibility that such an organization exists, even those of you who have security clearances.

You are all members of a private detective agency, The Centurian Agency. It is a very successful firm located in West Village, Manhattan, New York.
Your agency is successful enough to have a modest office staff to handle the day to day routine of running the business, freeing the partners to do what they like most, perform investigations.

You also own a couple of black Ford Expeditions, a couple of black Chrysler 300s— and a Learjet 85.

Your firm focuses on executive protection assignments, missing persons’ investigations and routine surveillance.
